The Languedoc is described as the biggest vineyard on Earth, so why not spend some time discovering the delicious regional wines here and at local chateaux.
Wines have been produced at St. Ferréol for well over a century. The impressive vaulted cellar still holds the original 25,000 litre oak foudre.
We re-commenced wine making in 2006 with a barrel fermented Viognier and an AOC Syrah Grenache.
We hold regular wine tastings in our cellar and also visits to Domaine Baie Sauvage & Domaine Sainte Rose vineyards.
We can tailor the tastings to extend your experience of wines covering for example:
- the lesser known Southern varieties,
- the effects of early and late harvesting.
- the effects of terroir.
- the use of oak on wine styles.
We can organise group visits and wine tastings here at St. Ferréol and a range of local vineyards.
Among the wines in our cellars we have some exceptional white wines made with Viognier, Chardonnay, Picpoul, Roussanne, Grenache Blanc, Clairette & Muscat.
Rosé's from Syrah, Cinsault, Cabernet and Grenache, Reds from Syrah, Grenache, Mouvedre, Merlot, Carignan, Cabernet Sauvignon & Franc and Petit Verdot.
Come and experience some new world style and traditional local delightful whites, rosés and reds.
