Over an acre of park provides an oasis of tranquillity, with lush green lawns and mature oaks and plantains. Tucked away in the midst is a petite private chapel underneath which lies a magical grotto with its own fresh spring source.

There is also a large fishpond brimming with goldfish and coy carp . Feeding time is a great favourite with the children , and a wonderful way of using up that leftover French bread !

There are plenty of nooks and crannies amongst the walkways in the park where you can sit and read or just relax and unwind, away from it all.

Set in the shady wooded parkland is a children’s play area with swings, a slide, a climbing frame, sandpit, table tennis, a football net and 14 ft trampoline, a great place for children to congregate in the evenings, leaving parents free to do some well-earned wine tasting !
